Winter Light

Living north of the Arctic Circle means that during winter the Sun never climbs above the horizon. Depending on where you live it varies from one to three months. Where I´m from it´s about two. Many have asked me how it´s possible to live in such a part of the world and the answer is that the few hours of “daylight” we do have keeps us going just because it can be sheer beauty. Thanksgiving

Det er torsdag igjen, men denne torsdagen er spesiell. Amerikansk flertall på L´Abri over flere år har ført til at den siste torsdagen i november markeres. For da feirer nemlig amerikanerne Thanksgiving – en hel dag satt av til takknemlighet!
